FREZYDERM MACROGOL ADULTS 3350

Powder for oral solution, for the symptomatic treatment of constipation. It acts within 24 -72 hours, gluten-free, with a neutral taste. 

It promotes peristalsis, facilitating adequate intestinal emptying to treat constipation and prevent fecal impaction. Macrogol is an inert water-soluble polymer with a high molecular weight. It has the ability to create bonds with the water used during reception, which it also maintains in the stool. It enhances rehydration and softens stool, facilitating defecation. Accelerates intestinal transit, stimulating peristalsis. It is not absorbed or metabolized in the intestine. It does not disturb the electrolyte balance if swallowed with the appropriate dose of liquid.

SUITABLE FOR: 

Adults and children over 12 years old. 

USE: 

From 1 to 4 sachets per day. Each sachet is dissolved in 125ml of water or other liquids and drunk immediately afterwards. In the case of taking the minimum dose (1 sachet per day), it is recommended to take the product in the morning. For larger doses, the intake should be divided into morning and evening. The dosage may be increased or decreased depending on the individual response to treatment, in order to enhance regular soft stool emptying. The maximum dose usually does not exceed 4 sachets per day.

ACTION - ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: 

Macrogol, sucralose. 

WARNINGS: 

Use in children should be carried out under the direct supervision of an adult. Consult your physician before use during pregnancy and lactation. Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package. Do not use if the package is opened or damaged. The product can reduce the time of intestinal transit and, therefore, the absorption of drugs administered orally. Therefore, it is recommended to take FREZYDERM MACROGOL 3350 Adults at least 2 hours apart from other oral medicinal products. In case of side effects, discontinue use of the product and consult your doctor.

CONTRAINDICATIONS: 

Do not use FREZYDERM MACROGOL 3350 Adults if: 

- Known hypersensitivity to one or more components 

- Paralytic ileus 

- Intestinal perforation, obstruction or stenosis 

- Severe inflammatory bowel disease (eg ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, toxic megacolon). Laxatives are contraindicated in acute abdominal pain, abdominal pain of unknown etiology, nausea and vomiting, rectal bleeding of unknown etiology or in case of severe dehydration. 

SIDE EFFECTS: 

Gastrointestinal reactions can occur (abdominal pain, flatulence, abdominal distention, nausea, fecal incontinence). Diarrhoea is a consequence of taking an overdose of FREZYDERM MACROGOL 3350 Adults and responds to dose reduction. Hypersensitivity reactions (skin rash) have rarely been reported as a result of the use of products containing macrogol. In this case, discontinue treatment and consult the doctor.
