Macrogol is an inert water-soluble polymer with a high molecular weight. It has the ability to create bonds with the water used during intake, which it also retains within the feces. It enhances rehydration and softens the stool, facilitating defecation. Accelerates intestinal transit, stimulating peristalsis. It is not absorbed or metabolized in the intestine. It does not disturb the balance of electrolytes as long as it is swallowed with the appropriate dose of liquid.

SUITABLE FOR:
Children between 6 months and 12 years.
USE:
- From 6 - 10 kg: 1 sachet per day

WARNINGS:
It is recommended to use the product for children after consulting your doctor. Usage by children should be carried out under the direct supervision of an adult. Do not use the product after the expiry date stated on packaging. Do not use if the package is opened or damaged. The product can reduce the time of intestinal transit and, therefore, the absorption of drugs administered orally. For this reason, it is recommended that you consult your doctor in case of concomitant use of oral medicinal products, which, in any case, should be taken at least 2 hours after taking FREZYDERM MACROGOL 3350 Kids. In case of side effects, discontinue use of the product and consult your doctor.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not use FREZYDERM MACROGOL 3350 Kids in case of:
- Known hypersensitivity to one or more components
- Paralytic ileus
- Intestinal perforation, obstruction or stenosis
- Severe inflammatory bowel disease (e.g. ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, toxic megacolon)
The use of laxatives is contraindicated in acute abdominal pain, abdominal pain unknown etiology, nausea and vomiting, rectal bleeding of unknown cause or in case of severe dehydration.
SIDE EFFECTS:
Some gastrointestinal disorders may occur (abdominal pain, flatulence, abdominal distention, nausea, fecal incontinence). Diarrhea is a consequence of taking an overdose of FREZYDERM MACROGOL 3350 Kids and may be avoided by reducing the intake dose. Hypersensitivity reactions (skin rash) have rarely been reported as a result of the use of products containing macrogol. In this case, discontinue the use of the product and consult your doctor.
