Medela's Nipple Formers gently prepare your nipples for breastfeeding. They gently push the nipple outward so that your baby can latch on more easily.

The soft and flexible silicone membrane offers a convenient and comfortable fit, so that breastfeeding problems are a thing of the past.

Flat or indented nipples can make breastfeeding difficult. Some infants have difficulty grasping these nipples properly, which can cause them to injure themselves.

The silicone membrane of the shapers applies gentle pressure to the areola, thus progressively pushing the nipple outward. Treatment can be started during pregnancy (from the 30th or 32nd week onwards). Wear the shapers for one hour a day at first, then gradually increase the use to about 8 hours a day. After the baby is born, wear the shapers between feedings (1/2 to 1 hour before feeding).  Avoid wearing them overnight to prevent possible irritation*.
