"Nutilis Clear is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. Nutilis Clear is a xanthan gum based food and fluid thickener designed to maintain the normal appearance of fluids. Nutilis Clear is designed for the dietary management of dysphagia and can be used to modify the texture of both food and fluids. Nutilis Clear has amylase resistant features to protect against the action of amylase, in order to help ensure a safer swallow by maintaining correct consistency in the mouth. Gluten & lactose free.

Ingredients:
Maltodextrin, xanthan gum, guar gum

Important notice:
For enteral use only. Must be used under medical supervision. To be used only as a food/fluid thickener. Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition. Not suitable for children under 3 years of age. Use with caution in patients on a sodium restricted diet.

Directions for use:
Nutilis Clear is suitable for thickening hot and cold drinks and for thickening puréed foods. Follow directions on the Nutilis Clear label. Use only the scoop provided in the packaging. Allow hot liquids to cool slightly before adding Nutilis Clear. Stir carbonated drinks well until the drink has gone flat. To thicken puréed foods, add Nutilis Clear until the desired consistency is reached.

Level 1 - Slightly thick: 1
Level 2 - Mildly thick: 2
Level 3 - Moderately thick: 3
